You just found out that your best friend got that new job and is now moving across the country. Yes there is email and skype and cell phones, but you want to get her a good going away gift, something special and from the heart. But what do you get?

You can run to the store and run up and down the aisles looking for a mug or some other trinket, but you want it to be something more memorable.

Not only is a digital frame a great going away gift, but you are now going to find as many pictures as you can of you and your friend or great places you have been, or those parties you went to. You are going to scour your computer, photo albums and pictures off your phone, and then you are going to scan them into your computer and then transfer them to a information stick.

If you are not sure how to do this, put all your pictures on a CD, then take this to a photo shop and they can put them on a information stick for you. This then plugs in the digital frame, and you can set it to just randomly pick pictures. This way your friend will get a laugh and remember the good times you have had.

Plus you can always send updates. This is a great way to keep in touch. The more pictures the better, then it does not get routine.

Finding good going away gifts is easy for an acquaintance, but for someone special, it needs to come from the heart, and make them feel good.
